“加工”用英语怎么说？

加工一般用“processing”来表示。

The cost for processing the new product is more than we expected. We need to do something about it but I don't know where to start.
新产品的加工费超出了计划。必须要采取一些措施，但不知道从何做起。

Is there any special processing machines being used or any part of the process being outsourced? Or maybe there is some part of the process taking longer than planned?

Come to think of it, they said the changeover for each size takes longer than usual since a high processing accuracy is required for the new product.

Then you may want to consider making better use of fixtures or see if you could do the changeover outside of the processing time.
